More Single-Chirality SWNT Samples Isolated

Ming Zheng and Ellen Semke at Dupont reported the isolation of (9,1) and (6,4) SWNTs, following their beautiful (yet scalable??) procedure of ion-exchange chromatography of DNA-wrapped SWNTs. As pretty as that of the previously reported (6,5) tubes, the absorption spectra of purified (9,1) (sharing the "same" diameter as (6,5)) and (6,4) tubes look amazing, providing much more spectroscopic details.

Zheng showed, again, his magic wand made of DNA-SWNTs. I hope he will provide an answer to the need of mass production (say, 100 mg) of such amazing material soon.
